Meeting of the Federal Council held by KSZSZ

KSZSZ held, on 17th November 2018, a Meeting of its Federal Council in the countryside of Bakonybél, attended by 16 of 17 members with full voting rights. The total number of attendees was 26.  

The agenda of the meeting:
1.    Presentation of the Bibó István Medal
2.    Up-to-date statement on the Hungarian defence of employee interests
3.    Amendment of the Organisational and Operational Regulations as well as the Regulation on Management of Resources and Finances
4.    The decision on the financial support to member organisations of KSZSZ
5.    Reports presented by the members of the Federal Council
6.    The decision on the application of MKKSZ for associated membership in KSZSZ
7.    Miscellaneous

The president of KSZSZ presented the Bibó István Medal to Mr Rozmán Gyula, Secretary of the Union “TIG Nonprofit Kht” and member of the Federal Council of KSZSZ, for his commitment to union work and high-quality, successful activity in the area of defence of employees’ interests.

The members of the Federal Council decided to accept the application of MKKSZ (Trade Union of Hungarian Civil Servants and Public Employees) as an associated member of KSZSZ and voted unanimously for the inclusion.

Dr. Agg Géza, president of KSZSZ, welcomed MKKSZ being again a member of KSZSZ. Mrs. Boros Péterné, president of MKKSZ declared the moment a historical one, and stated that she was particularly pleased about the possibility of closer cooperation between the two organisations, and also joint activities in the representation of their union members.
